I'm trying to download MapleStory, which takes up 1.8 gb... my hard drive C only has 171 MB on it and drive D has 14.8 GB on it. Can someone explain to me how I can download the game to drive d instead of C, if it's possible?
How do I download to drive D instead of C?
When you click on something to download a New Window pops up and it asks you for where you want to save that file. From that small pop up window you can browse and go to different drive. Both of your drives are in My Computer. So you might want to go back to My Computer, then select drive D. Once you are inside drive D, press Save. The file will be saved there. Hope it helps.
Reply:when you click on download it must be asking you for the location where to save.
if not do this (Mozilla Firefox):
1.Go to tools click on download
(A new window would open which would tell you all the downloads you have done).
2. Click on the location where its saving the files, the location would be mentioned just next to this line" All Files Donloaded to", click on the location and change it.
Thats it you are done.
Reply:Hi -
This is easy. When you click on the "download" link on MapleStory's site, and choose "download file" (you may be asked whether to open the file or save it, depending on which browser you use), the computer will open a "Save As" window.
At the top of this window is a field that says "Save in" - the folder in the box is probably My Documents by default (or wherever you last downloaded something). There is a drop-down box here - pull it down (by clicking on the down arrow) and choose a different drive. Then save the file (making sure the file name is what you want).
Hope this helps!
Reply:You can find 'd' by clicking start and my computer. You should also be able to select 'd' when you pick destination.
Reply:when you download and the window pops up says save in..C:\..............just put youre cursor between the C and the : and backspace and put a D in its place. it's just suggesting a place when it says that. you can retype it to go anywhere you want.
