Your computer should have a cd rom drive and I do not think you can download one. You would have to get one installed into your computer. Good Luck!!!

Your PC Should Have A CD Rom. As Far As Updating Some Manafactureres Have What's Called Firmware Updates On There Website. Check The Documentation On Your Cd Rom Drive To See What Manafacturer It Is
Reply:All you need to do is look at the front of it. Does it have a button you can press that pops a little holder out that you can put a cd in? If you cant tell if your machine has a cd drive, you probably shouldnt even be concerned with trying to download and install a driver.
Reply:CD-rom drive is the drive where you put CD's. Usually computers come with CD-rom drives, but if you bought your computer from a shady character he probably sold a computer with no CD-rom drive. You cannot download a CD-rom drive since it's hardware not software. If you want to update your CD-rom driver go to control panel-system-device manager-CD drive-driver-update driver.
Reply:As Long as you are running above Windows 98 Second Edition there is no need for CDrom Drivers. If you are running on a system below that you will need to check the support site for your specific drive.
Reply:right click on START

press explor

go on you rom drive and right click again

push properties

on top choose hardware

it will tell you what kind of rom do you have then you can go to driver.com and search for it
Reply:The CD ROM driver usuall comes shipped/installed when you buy the PC/Laptop.

In case you have bought a new hardware, the drivers will be given with the hardware for you to install. For hardware that is already installed and has no drivers, please refer to the website of the product for drivers or google for drivers of your hardware make/model number. Hope this helps
Reply:You'll know if you have a drive if there's a button on the front of your computer which, when pushed, ejects a CD tray to put a CD-ROM in.

As far as drivers, if you're running Windows XP, it should install no problem, but if you need one, best to go to the manufacturer's website, and usually there's a download section, and you can search for your specific driver.
