Mozilla still allows downloading, however it creates a downloaded folder on your desktop for everything you download. The folder should pop up when you select to download something. Also you can check out there site help file.

Try this:

click START, RUN, type "CMD" (no quotes,) and hit ENTER.

Type "ren C:\windows\system32\verclsid.e... C:\windows\system32\verclsid.o... (no quotes,) and hit ENTER.

Finally, type "exit" and hit enter.

Reboot your computer, and it will work!

Good Luck! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Reply:You have an inbuilt fire wall or an explict firewall??

And the firewall normally dosent block downloads unless you have mentioned that.

Reply:I prefer Mozilla Firefox too - but some websites are bigoted when it comes to the browsers they support. You could try MS IE since it is "free" on every Windows PC. Also, make sure you have the latest release - I think that is 1.07.
